Kevin Schurter SpA is a company specialized in the distribution of electronic and electromechanical components, power supplies, display modules and other niche products for special solutions in different market sectors such as medical equipment, telecommunications, computers, instrumentation, industrial automation, consumer, etc. Founded in 1981 by the current Managing Director together with two other partners, the original company, Kevin, changed its organisational structure over the years until it reached the present structure. In 1995 the Group Schurter AG of Lucerne (Switzerland), leader in the manufacturing of electric components and systems, and already one of the major suppliers of Kevin, became partner of Kevin and in 1997 it acquired 51% of the shares. In April 1999 Kevin changed its name and became Kevin Schurter SpA. Thanks to the merging with Schurter AG, Kevin Schurter has tremendously strengthened its presence in Italy by opening own branch offices and sales agencies across the whole territory so reaching the coverage of the whole Italian market. Recently Kevin Schurter SpA is expanding its commercial activity also abroad.
